Day 18: “I UNDERSTAND MY RELATIONSHIP HISTORY, HABITS AND PATTERNS – I know myself and how I tend to function in intimate relationships. I don’t have unresolved emotional issues, unhelpful habits and patterns that may sabotage a future relationship.”

‘If you always do what you always did, you’ll always get what you always got’ – I’m sure you’re familiar with this saying. And how very true this is when it comes to our relationships. We’re creatures of habit and it’s so easy to just slip into old, familiar behaviours in a new relationship – before we know it we’re back at square one.

This session is all about turning inward again, focussing and getting really honest with ourselves and looking at the the bigger picture of our past relationships. I also talk about knowing your Attachment style/pattern – something that can go a long way to help you make sense of how you relate in your relationships and why you behave the way you do. (Resources below)

I share 9 simple tips and resources to help you make sense of your relationship history and understand your own habits and patterns.

– Attachment Style Test – click here to access

From early on in life, we develop an attachment to our primary caregivers that tends to remain constant. This attachment style has a profound effect not only on our emotional development, but also upon the health of our relationships.

The main attachment styles covered in this test are Secure, Anxious-Ambivalent, Dismissive-Avoidant, Fearful-Avoidant, Dependent, and Codependent. Find out what your style is and how it affects your relationships by taking this test.

Please note: After finishing the test, you will receive a Snapshot Report with an introduction, a graph and a personalized interpretation for one of your test scores. You will then have the option to purchase the full results.

* I don’t have any affiliation with this product, but have used it myself. You don’t have to purchase the full version – the initial, free version will give you a good indication of your own style / pattern. I recommend that you conduct your own further research and get the support you need if you feel inspired to do so.
