Is it possible for you to successfully blend the worlds of entertainment, education, ministry and entrepreneurship into a fulfilling and lucrative career?

Our guest Ashaala Shanae has, and she is sharing how you can do the same.

For nearly 20 years, this pioneering recording artist, vocal health expert, performance coach and mentor has continually challenged herself to grow her career beyond the stage and the studio.

She now works tirelessly to help other creatives to see the divine possibilities that await them if they apply hard work and seek out the right guidance.

After a successful stint as a background vocalist, Ashaala expanded her horizons by becoming Creative Director and CEO of The Music and Arts Healing Institute ( aka The M.A.H.I.), located in Miami, Florida. She has been featured in media outlets such as Blackdoctors.org, 'Get Up Mornings' with Erica Campbell, Root Magazine, Elev8 Magazine and many others. She has worked closely with the biggest and brightest artists in multiple genres, such as, Yolanda Adams; Martha Munizzi; Jonathan Nelson; Todd Galberth; Joshua Rogers; Q Parker from Bad Boy's 90's RnB band 112, and lead singer of "Tank and The Bangas" Tarriona "Tank" Ball.

Her interview with us touched every aspect of the process that creatives must go through to overcome fear and unforeseen setbacks, on the way to becoming the complete and confident Christian creative entrepreneurs we’re called to be.

  • How her relationship with key mentors like Ms. Betty Wright influenced her life and leadership
  • Why mentorship is the ONLY way to grow your creative business to new levels
  • A revealing and insightful explanation of how creatives process emotions
  • Why knowing your purpose is a key to thriving in the midst of uncertainty
  • The difference between ministry, artistry and industry and why all three must be prioritized properly in order to survive as a Christian creative
  • How she built her systems to create multiple streams of income
  • Why you should never marry yourself to an artist or project
  • Her advice to musicians who are considering a new project or entrepreneurial step
