Colin Montgomerie won his second straight Major Championship on the Champions Tour.
Mo Martin held on for a one-shot victory with an eagle on the 18th hole to win the Women's British Open.
Holly spoke earlier in the day with Bob Harig, ESPN.com, from the Open Championship. Bob gives players a feel of the weather and the golf course layout. Bob mentions the history of the golf course at Hoylake from Bobby Jones to Tiger Woods.
Holly asks Bob about Tiger's chances and what he thinks Tiger's realistic expectations should be coming back from surgery. Bob feels that Tiger needed more playing time before the Open.

Bob and Holly G talk about all the contenders who could possibly win this Open Championship.Adam Scott and Henrik Stenson the #1 and #2 players in the Official World Golf Ranking. Martin Kaymer coming off the U.S. Open win has to be a favorite and has been playing great since May. Holly and Bob talk about Rickie Fowler who has played well in windy conditions and has had Top 5 finishes in the majors this season. Bob feels that Rickie seems to enjoy links style courses and that is an advantage for Rickie. Bob doesn't like Phil Mickelson's chances at the Open Championship as he is still having some putting issues and no Top 10s of late.  Bob is rooting for Phil but is optimistic.Holly and Bob talk about Sergio Garcia and Lee Westwood's chances at the Open Championship. Bob likes Graeme McDowell to win and thinks that his game fits the course.
Jeff Shain, PGA Tour.com, talks with Holly and Rich about the Open Championship. Jeff talks about Justin Rose, Adam Scott and others who have a great chance to win. Holly asks about the Molanari brothers and others who seem to rise up on the leaderboard out of no where.
Jeff feels that Henrik Stenson is playing well and might be the player who has not won a major that could finally break through as well as Sergio Garcia.
Holly mentions to Jeff that she has heard that this course is playing like a chess match. Adam Scott is Jeff's first choice if he can get the putter going although he doesn't feel that the greens are going to be an issue this week.
Steve Eubanks from Global Golf Post calls in to wrap up the show talking about links golf. Steve says that anything can happen in links style golf as Mo Martin seemed to come out of nowhere last week to win the Women's British Open.
Steve likes Adam Scott and a few others.
Rich likes Rickie Fowler and Luke Donald, Rickie Fowler and Sergio Garcia's group.
Steve feels that Rory McIroy is facing the most pressure going into the Open Championship especially with the fans and how he has been falling off on Fridays after great opening rounds of late.
Holly likes Tiger Woods' pairing of Angel Cabrera and Henrik Stenson.
