This week's podcast features a conversation with Kevin Moore, club manager at Whitwood Golf Club in West Yorkshire.

Whitwood is a nine-hole course constructed on the site of a former coal mine spoil heap. It's a modest club, but it's playing a massive role in getting people in the local area into golf.

Thank you for listening to this week’s podcast and we hope you enjoy finding out a little more about the science and art of golf course greenkeeping in the UK.

We’d love to hear your feedback on the podcast and all the other activities undertaken by BIGGA throughout the year. If you’d like to get in touch with me about the podcast or our stable of magazines, Greenkeeper International and Your Course, email karl@bigga.co.uk.

Take the opportunity to rate us on Apple Podcasts as it’d be good to get this to the top of the list. The more people know about the sports turf industry, the more understanding people will have about the hard work of BIGGA members and other greenkeepers.

If you’d like to get in contact about any other aspect of your BIGGA membership, including member benefits, support, or learning and development, call 01347 833800 or email info@bigga.co.uk

You can also get in touch via social media using @BIGGALtd on Twitter or join our hugely-popular Facebook group which can be found @golfgreenkeepers. We’ve also got a Facebook page where all the latest notices, news releases and information from BIGGA can be found. We’re also on Instagram using @BIGGA_HQ.
