Hockey Dream Team is the twelfth season of the Half Court Press Podcast. In this series we hear from a variety of members of the global hockey community, including players, coaches, umpires and journalists. In each episode Tao MacLeod speaks with hockey personalities, about topics relevant to them and the sport. Then the guests give their picks for a six-a-side hockey team. One guest chooses a men's team, whilst the other puts forward a women's side. The debate is then who we have for a combined mixed gender six-a-side Dream Team.

Tommy Alexander is a goalkeeper for UHC Hamburg in Germany and the Scottish Men’s National Team. Before moving to Central Europe for greater hockey playing opportunities, he played for a variety of clubs in the U.K. including Indian Gymkhana and Reading Hockey Club. In 2017, Tommy won the EuroHockey Championships II Division, taking the goalkeeper of the tournament award as well. He is also one of the brains behind the coaching company Iconic Goalkeeping. Tommy picks the men’s six-a-side indoor dream team.

Amy Gibson is an indoor and outdoor Bundesliga champion for Der Club an der Alster, in Germany. She is also the goalkeeper for the Scottish Ladies National Team and has been capped twice for the Great Britain Hockey Team. She played for a variety of clubs around the U.K., but after leaving the centralised programme, she went to play on the continent. In 2019 she won the EuroHockey Championship II Division, which meant that she played in the top competition this summer in 2021. Amy picks the women’s six-a-side indoor dream team.
