This is episode 19 of the Hardest Kit on the Planet Podcast. This podcast is brought to you by Heinnie Haynes - The Premium Source for the Hardest Kit on the Planet, available online at heinnie.com

This is the show where we speak to the hardest people and companies on the planet, looking at what makes them tick, from adventurers and explorers to knife makers, bushcrafters, preppers and generally awesome outdoors people.

I’m your host Ben Roberts, and i’ll be your guide with each and every episode of the podcast. If you do have any questions, guest suggestions or comments please feel free to drop me a message anytime to podcast@heinnie.com

So onto to the guest . . .

This week we chat to a woman called Katie Ellis who is a kayaker. Not just a kayaker though, she is a woman who has kayaked around the entirety of Great Britain. She is a really cool lady who just loves to spend time on the water and i’m sure she can help encourage you to give it a go too.

In this episode we look at how Katie got into kayaking and how easy it is for you or anyone to get started (it’s also pretty cheap too!). We also chat all about her adventure kayaking around GB including what it entailed, some of the challenges and some of the things she learnt along the way. We then trap up the conversation looking at how kayaking and in particular sea kayaking is evolving, which I found particularly interesting!

As always if you like the show please subscribe on iTunes and leave us a review. The more subscribers and more popular we are the better we can keep making this podcast.
