We welcome our special guest, Davide Barbieri who works for the Pontifical Charity Aid to the Church in Need in Ireland. Davide shares his powerful and transformative story from life as a homeless heroin addict to a Committed Catholic and joyful family man living in Knock, County Mayo with his wife Niamh and lovely family.

Davide's story is not for the faint-hearted and he shares the early challenges of family life the led to him being on the streets. His chance encounter with Peter from the Cenacolo Community in Italy changed his life and introduced him to a relationship with Jesus and His Church. Davide passionately talks about how men with addiction are transformed through prayer, work and fraternity and how the Cenacolo Community saves the lives of men across the world by introducing them to the person of Christ and the Gospel message of love. The Christian response with hostels, support programmes, treatment centres and prayer demonstrate that Christianity isn't something fluffy but our response to Christ's message.
