Dermot hosts the podcast this week as we reflect back on 'finding god in the mess' by Jim Deeds and we introduce Deacon John Taaffe, a well-respected servant of God working throughout Ireland and spreading the Good News and involved in Healing Ministries.

After an encounter with God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, he knew things were going to change forever. This led him to Jesus, His Church and tackling some unforgiveness in his life.Giving up a successful career in Sales & Marketing he dedicated his life to serving others and in particular those with addictions and on the margins.  He then made the call to commit his life fully to God and offer his service to the Church as a Permanent Deacon.

John shares his love of Marian pilgrimage site Medjugorje and the many graces and miracles that have come from taking groups of people there. He shares some of his work in the charismatic renewal and healing ministries and encourages the men out there to help and heal those around them.
