As we prepare ourselves for the Feast of St Joseph the Worker on the 1st of May, we consider the role of men who have worked hard but also 'Serve the Lord' in the same manner.

We are joined on the podcast with Rev. James McAllister,  a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Down and Connor. James is married to Elaine with 3 lovely children and now makes a contribution to the church through his service and prison chaplaincy. James tells us about the 'God moment' as he rescued an infant from a house fire, the importance of a nudge from the wife, and how God can sometimes work in mysterious ways. He gives us some non-negotiables in his faith journey and leaves us with a challenge to reassess our lives at various intervals.

St Joseph, Pray for us.
