In this episode we were so excited to speak to mother, worker, hydro jog and aqua fit tutor, record holding stand up paddle boarder, Jo Moseley.  There is too much to say about everything that Jo has done; it’s more about what she’s not done!

Following a bereavement and her struggles with intense anxiety which she later discovered was due to perimenopause, Jo sought solace from exercise.  With a huge amount of tenacity, following the gift of a rowing machine from her friend, Jo worked through her anxiety by exercising, but not in a straightforward way.  She rowed a marathon, she paddle-boarded coast to coast from Liverpool to Goole and she did so much more and regularly speaks at events to inspire others to do the same.

Jo shares her story on this episode, which we are sure will inspire you as it has done for so many women.  She is an incredibly energetic and enthusiastic woman who is driven by joy, purpose and gratitude.  One of her mantras is “I am my own happy ending” and if you listen to this episode you will absolutely understand why.

You can find Jo on Twitter and Instagram @happyhealthy50.

Jo has also been nominated for a sporting achievement award and you can vote for her here:
