Picture this. The year is 1872, the place is rural Ireland, it is a time before television, telephones, radios, or electricity. A group of men, women and children sit around the fireplace in a small hut near the edge of a bog (peatland). They tell stories, they sing songs, they play instruments, they dance, and they share knowledge and impart wisdom.

In this podcast, my mum, Sheila, a life coach, and me, James, a philosopher, draw on the collective wisdom of Irish generations past as well as our own our own expertise and life experiences to discuss various aspects of human existence, such as, values, attitudes, relationships, forgiveness, and gratitude.
