It's a sad day in the sports world as we announce the death of baseball legend Hank Aaron who passed away at the age of 86. Not only was he one of the best players in the game, and an icon as a player of color when racism still ran rampant, but he was by all accounts a humble and personable guy. RIP Hank Aaron, you will be missed. Just as we're trying to get high school sports rolling again, the Kent School District superintendent is looking to shut them down. This isn't about safety, it's a play against the Teachers Union, and the kids have been caught in the middle. Just as we've done for the last two weeks, we check in with reporters covering each of the last four teams standing. We ask one simple question; what does you r team need to do to win this weekend? Gary Parrish gives us our first look at college basketball for the season. Are the Gonzaga Bulldogs really as good as they appear? Gary also explains how the first two rounds of the tournament will work in a revamped COVID-era format.
