We've seen buy outs and trades happening in the NHL over the last few days, and they're almost certainly related to the upcoming expansion draft. Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic explains the moves being made, and how they might impact Seattle's plan for next Wendesday. Last hour we heard from Redmond Police and the Washington State Patrol about the Richard Sherman incident. we go through what we learned, and try to put the pieces of this mess together. In some ways, the information we learned just gives us more questions than answers. A report from ESPN today says that the NHL will in fact release teams' protected lists on Sunday, which gives us plenty of opportunity to speculate about the expansion draft early next week. Dick Fain pops in before he takes over the afternoon show.
