The ID Podcast is dedicated to sharing stories about medicine and the people behind them. As a group of medical students, we recognize that the experiences of Black patients have historically and continue to be underrepresented in the conversations of health and Black students continue to be underrepresented in healthcare fields. Anti-black racism is a public health crisis that demands our collective attention. The intersection of race and health is highlighted in the continued lack of access to healthcare and community services amongst Black Canadians. We would like to highlight some of the disparities that Black Ontarians face today.
