Dr. Lahab Al-Samarrai interviews Sonya Mahmood ia third year medical student in the Naturopathic Medicine program at Bastyr University. She has academic interests in Neurology, Mental Health, IV Therapy and Sports Medicine. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington, Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University and her Medical Phlebotomist License from PIMA Medical Institute. She is currently a teaching assistant for Neurology at Bastyr University and the Integrative Medicine Chair of the Naturopathic Medical Student Association. She enjoys dancing, traveling, NBA, philanthropy pursuits and spending time with her family & friends.
