012: Steve Bolton and his Platinum Property Partners dominate the UK HMO market - a podcast by Mike Stenhouse: Property Investor

Steve is a successful entrepreneur, best-selling published author and Founder of Platinum Property Partners. Having made his first million before he was 30, Steve encountered financial difficulties like many other business owners during the downturn of 2001. In what he describes as the ‘best worst experience of his life’ he realised that it was his home that saved him from bankruptcy. As a result, he was inspired to rebuild his fortune on the solid foundation of buy-to-let property investment. 

 

Through extensive research and development, he discovered the robust residential letting model of premium ‘Houses of Multiple Occupancy’ for young professionals and set about building his own portfolio. After three years he had built up a £6 million portfolio and achieved lifelong financial security.  He then focussed on his passion for mentoring others and decided to franchise the tried, tested and proven business model to others.
