The Atwell's - a podcast by ABF Creative

This episode of The Invisible Vote features the Atwell's. Three generations of a politically engaged family that are all native New Yorkers. Edward Atwell, 79, Julie Atwell, 57, and Ondine Atwell, 21; a grandfather, mother and granddaughter. Edward and Julie have seen the country change from a period when certain modern day rights seemed like unachievable fantasies to gaining form and becoming realities that have empowered the masses ever since. Within the Gen Z cohort, Ondine observes an uptick in political engagement among her peers as they take to streets and use various political tools accessible to them to ensure their representatives know that people are paying attention and, as our leaders, they will be held accountable for their decisions. 
In this episode, the Atwell's leave the listeners with much to reflect on: the weight of the 2020 elections and the life-altering issues that are hinged upon its outcome, the fragility of a Democratic Republic and the people who currently hold the tools of its maintenance, and the historical significance of our ability to vote and the importance to judge its impact from the lens of the collective and not the individual. Resources mentioned:
