WHO IS PASTOR JOEY:

Pastor Silva joined the staff of Belmont Assembly in Chicago in 2009 as an Assistant Pastor to our previous Student Ministries Pastor.

Pastor Joey assumed the leadership role in the Excel youth ministry at Belmont beginning in February of 2010. He is a product of Excel Student Ministry, being a part of the group for a number of years initially as an attendee, and then growing in responsibilities involving the volunteer leadership team of Excel. This is one of those examples where God develops someone from within the church and then calls them to a ministry role. Now, with his wife Cicely and daughters Josie and Olivia at his side.

NEXT GEN MISSIONS TOUR DEETS:

the ISM fam is going on tour 

Illinois Student Ministries will be hosting 4 Next Gen Missions Tour Stops throughout February and March.

Each Region will have the opportunity to come together with churches from your region so your students can learn from dynamic speakers about STL & BGMC.

STL Rallies will be held on Friday nights and BGMC Rallies will be held at the same location on Saturday.

Here are the locations (leaders: choose whichever date/location is most convenient for your group)

Southern Region: February 17th (STL) & February 18th (BGMC) @ Cornerstone Church, Bethalto

Central Region: February 24th (STL) & February 25th(BGMC) @ Meadowbrook Community Church, Champaign

North Region: March 3rd (STL) & March 4th (BGMC) @ New Life Fellowship, Moline

Chicago Region: March 10th (STL) & March 11th (BGMC) @ Belmont AG, Chicago

These events are held at no cost to the groups attending. Tentative hours would be 6-8 PM on Friday nights and 10-3 on Saturdays with pizza being served for lunch to students.
