What does reality mean to each of us, and what is the true purpose of enlightenment? On this episode, we discuss emotive mind power, consciousness, reality and the differences between ego and false ego. Guest Matt Belair tells us about his amazing life experiences, from meditating with monks to experiencing altered states.

At the start of the show, Matt gave us a background of his experiences, travels and adventures. He also talked about lucid dreaming and direct experience, “if someone is trying to convince you of something that feels off, then they are just trying to prove to you through words, something that could be limiting.”

We went on to talk about the power of yogic breathing and how it helps us rise above reactionary experiences. Next, we talked about the definition of reality, and how we all experience it differently. Towards the end of the show we discussed ego and alien existence.

A true seeker of enlightenment should always seek ascension beyond the self and the ego. What we experience as reality is subjective and self-controlled. Every single bit of your reality is like a mirror being balanced and you are actually creating it. Remember whatever you’re challenged by is just a belief system, and all we are is energy. How we use it determines our enlightenment and illumination.
