Anibal Rey is a Venezuelan singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
He learned how to play the guitar while in high school in his hometown, Guacara. When he was 16, he formed two bands.

Anibal knew his calling was music. After leaving Venezuela he worked many jobs to make a living so he could pursue his music dreams.

He managed to establish himself as a session and live guitarist in
Panama where he played with internationally acclaimed acts. 

And throughout this time, Anibal kept at writing songs. He kept improving and growing as an artist.

“Déjame Quererte” was released in February 2022.

It is the first single off his second album in which R&B-influenced Latin Pop songs take a deeper look at Anibal’s life experiences. The album is deeply personal, sharing his most intimate thoughts.

The album combines Latin Pop with R&B influences, modern sounds with acoustic instruments, and sincere lyrics with memorable lyrics. 

Due to the travel restrictions imposed at the start of the pandemic the song was produced remotely between Panama, El Salvador and
Los Angeles.

Ernesto Figueroa produced and arranged the song with Angel Vidal as recording, mixing and mastering engineer. 
 
Founded by Ernesto Figueroa and Angel Vidal, Panela Music produced Anibal Rey's debut EP and his upcoming album.

Ernesto has vast experience as a music producer, session musician and jazz guitarist in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama and other countries in the region.

Angel works as a recording and mixing engineer and is a voting 
member of the Recording Academy and Latin Recording Academy.
