Did you know that Janis Joplin is alive and well and living in South Dublin? This is merely one of several mind-blowing facts revealed to us by this week's guest, Rachel O'Regan. Rachel is a Dublin based artist who creates endearing surrealistic comics using a very cool mixed media approach. I'm a big fan of her work, and in this sprawling conversation, she interviews me as much as the other way around. This results in one of my favourite episodes of the JATA so far, an exploration of one another's philosophies, identity politics, cultural appropriation, the search for meaning, the expression of truth and a whole host of otherworldly thought farts and facts. It's a long, fun-filled romp that just so happens to address some serious cultural taboos of our time. I hope you enjoy :)

There already exists a brief interview Rachel and I made for Artfully here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPaAF1v1oQY.
