CHRISTMAS PROMISES DAY TWENTY

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

Christmas is the reason we have forever comfort. Christmas is the reason we have hope. Because at Christmas God our Father, saw our greatest need and gave us Jesus. He, Himself, does the work. He alone is able to bring us out of despair. He alone is able to provide hope amidst hopelessness. He alone gives light amidst darkness.

We cannot find forever, lasting, unending hope in this broken world, it will always come up short, leave us wanting more, needing more. This world was never meant to provide the hope and peace that only God Himself can provide, it was only meant to point us to the One who can.
