This montage also includes a recitation of the moving essay, "What Social Workers Make". The essay states many of the different ways that Social Workers Positively impact society in general and people, families, communities, and systems in particular.
Near the end of the tribute everyone is reminded that it is imperative to "Raise-the-Wage" of Social Workers so that they are paid commensurate to the enormous impact they have on the lives of those they serve. There is a subtle reminder that we love helping others but at the same time we want to be compensated more equitably.
