In 2011, Legislator Hahn was elected to represent the 5th Legislative District of Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. She is a formally trained Social Worker who has her Master's of Social Work Degree. She is a dedicated supporter of the Social Work profession. Legislator Hahn consistently donates time in the community. She does a little of everything from pitching in to do clean-ups at area beaches in her community to attending Social Work Award ceremonies to honor local Social Workers, Schools of Social Work, and Social Work Agencies.
