Longtime Cleveland sports reporter Bud Shaw joined Ken Carman and Anthony Lima to talk about a few of the hot topics surrounding the city’s teams. Bud started with the weird thumb injury that Indians pitcher Zach Plesac suffered taking off his shirt and some of the other odd stories of baseball’s past, what the Tribe will do now to help get the starting rotation through this injury and if Tristan McKinzie will be serviceable after returning from Columbus after only a couple of days. Bud also gave his thoughts on if the Cavaliers need to have someone speak to the media, if the Browns need to be in Berea for OTAs, if J.C. Tretter has more responsibility to the player’s union or the Cleveland Browns and when the team should offer Baker Mayfield a contract.
