The Kiwi and the Emu Series 2 episode 2 - Helen Keller

Carolyn and Elise are back together to profile Helen Keller just after her birthday in June.

They also discussed Toastmasters, the pathways program, and its lack of accessibility to people who are blind and have low vision, hybrid meetings and Club officer training.

In New Zealand, they have just changed many laws and regulations pertaining to single use plastic bags and containers.

Elise and Carolyn also discussed the independent NDIS provider movement and had a conversation about the changes with a Voice Dream Reader, scanner, and writer.

Because the discussion was around such a well-known advocate and activist, Helen Keller. we led into a conversation about the suffragettes in the women's suffrage movement in general.

Looking forward to a speedy recovery with your Voice Carolyn and you can kiss that frog goodbye, you may get lucky and he will turn in to a handsome prince for you.
