  • Three people were hurt in two shootings in Olney Thursday morning. Police say the two incidents are connected, but they are thin on details. So far, police have said nothing about suspects.

  • Legal troubles pile on for Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey, with federal prosecutors filing new charges, accusing him of working as a foreign agent to benefit the government of Egypt. Menendez and his wife Nadine are both named in the suit. Menendez, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, already faces a long list of corruption allegations. Sources tell KYW Newsradio that the state attorney general's office is also investigating connections between Menendez and former A.G. Gurbir Grewal.  

  • There’s a new eye in the sky in Atlantic City now that the beach patrol has unveiled drones, this week, that will be used to help prevent drowning deaths. A.C. currently has nine drones, but Evans says they may add to the fleet before next summer.

  • The Philadelphia School District's practice of re-assigning teachers one month into the school year, referred to as "leveling," will come under City Council scrutiny. Superintendent Tony Watlington has said he also wants to take a second look at the issue.

  • SEPTA says its dedicated bus lane pilot program this year found thousands of vehicles illegally parked in the bright red bus lanes.
