• A driver hit two pedestrians in Delaware County early Wednesday morning, killing one of them, officials said.


• An Israeli grandmother and a young boy with ties to the Philadelphia area, whom Hamas abducted on Oct. 7, are among the latest group of hostages to be returned to Israel.


• Authorities in Bucks County arrested a man they say recorded his sexual assaults of young children and posted some of the material on social media. Three victims, ages 12 and younger, have been identified, and investigators fear there may be more victims yet.

  The Roosevelt Boulevard subway could drastically cut commuting times and keep tens of thousands of cars off the dangerous road, but building it would cost billions of dollars at a time when SEPTA will already be deep in the red.
