  • A jury of six men and six women has been selected for in the second trial for once-influential union boss John Dougherty. Convicted two years ago of public corruption, Dougherty is now facing charges he dipped into Local 98’s coffers to pay for personal expenses.

  • Multiple security lapses helped two inmates escape from Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center in May. That's according to a report that District Attorney Larry Krasner, who delivered a report on the escape to a City Council committee  on Wednesday.
