• There's a manhunt for a prisoner who escaped from Riverside Correctional Facility along State Road in Northeast Philadelphia Thursday. KYW's Hadas Kuznits has more.

  Investigators in Vermont are working to determine if there is enough evidence for hate crime charges to be filed against a man accused of shooting three young men of Palestinian descent. As we hear from KYW's Conner Barkon, one of those victims is a student at Haverford College in Delaware County.

  Philadelphia city council passed a bill banning ski masks in public places Thursday, despite objections from opponents who testified that the ban would hurt young men of color, who are most likely to wear the face coverings. KYW’s City Hall bureau chief Pat Loeb was there.
