• Several drivers hit a pedestrian on the Schuylkill Expressway earlier this morning. The police investigation shut down a stretch of the highway in the city for hours.


• The people who lost their homes in that massive fire in Oxford, Chester County, on Wedneday night started moving into hotels today, according to the Red Cross.


• The win against the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night was quite the homecoming for one of the Philadelphia Eagles — Philadelphia native and St. Joe's Prep alum D'Andre Swift, who ran for 175 yards and a score. Overall, the Eagles have room for improvement after two games, but quarterback Jalen Hurts, who ran for a pair of 1-yard touchdowns and threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith, is most happy to get the victories.
