South Philly playground redesign will honor its history as burial ground - a podcast by Radio.com

• The new design of a popular South Philadelphia playground has been unveiled. As KYW Newsradio’s Hadas Kuznits, it will honor the legacy of the thousands of people that have been discovered to be buried underneath it.


• As Philadelphia’s Board of Elections begins to receive mail-in ballots, it has published lists of voters who left out a date or signature, so they can request a replacement or vote in person.


• Philadelphia’s ban on single-use plastic bags went into effect about 2 years ago but many food trucks may be taking a hard pass. KYW Newsradio’s John McDevitt has the results of a survey conducted by an area environmental group.


• Thousands of people gathered outside Citizens Bank Park Saturday morning for the Philadelphia Heart Walk. KYW Newsradio’s Conner Barkon has more from South Philly.
