• The man who pleaded guilty to raping a woman in LOVE Park in 2020 will spend 13 to 40 years in prison.


• A series of bills advanced in the Pennsylvania Senate that would make changes to the state’s medical marijuana laws, including allowing the sale of edibles and scrapping the list of qualifying medical conditions.


• New Jersey legislative leaders have agreed to a property tax cut for senior citizens as part of a budget deal. If signed into law, the initiative won’t be in full effect for three more years, but immediate tax relief will be available in the meantime.


• City Council is addressing the blighted and crumbling infrastructure in Philadelphia neighborhoods. Driveway repair is now underway across the city.
