This sermon is all about the pleasant surprises we have heard and exciting discoveries we have made in the course of our transition to The Citadel [Proverbs 4:14-19]. The established pattern is simple; many of the things we do in the now have been pre-determined by God in the past. God wrote the script; we are his actors on the stage of life. Sometimes, when we take pride in our abilities and talents, we simply forget that they were given to us in the first place to serve and fulfil God’s purpose on the earth.
