Chris is the founder of Purpose Led Performance https://www.plpconsult.co.uk a consultancy that provides leadership development and consultancy to Scale-Ups and purpose driven organisations.  Chris believes that purpose is the vital ingredient to achieve high performance and growth.

 

Prior to Chris worked as a CEO and senior Executive and led organisations that have achieved incredible growth, became number one in their markets and were recognized on seven occasions as being amongst the Top 100 employers in the UK. Chris has worked in the education, employability, disability, and criminal justice sectors and led businesses and Joint ventures for the likes of Deloitte, Capita, and MAXIMUS.

 

Chris took on his first C-level role in 2009 during the height of the last financial crisis when his company Ingeus, till then a very successful scale-up that had gone from £0 to £50m revenue in six years, had just lost a £1m in a single month. Chris believes the experience of going through the crisis and coming through the other side was the best thing that happened to Ingeus and was the platform for them growing to over £120m revenue just three years later.
