In this episode of The Living Artist, Preston discusses depression. He shares how he has been feeling recently and how it reminds him of a time where he was all alone in Los Angeles, trying to find his way and battle inner demons. During this period, he experienced a strange sickness that heightened the struggles he was going through at the time. At his lowest point, he began writing his first novel, which Preston declares "literally saved my life" and shares a small passage from it, which echoes the mood and struggles he was experiencing at that time. Through creativity and self-expression, along with some lifestyle changes, Preston began to climb out of this hole. Hopefully, this episode will be cathartic and remind you of the power of your art, not only as an expression of self, but as a tool to conquer some of your darkest times.
