We often refer to God in the masculine form, but if we're all made in His imagine then we need to accept the fact that He also has the best attributes of a mother for us to be inspired by. We can look to God to show the divine example of motherhood, regardless of our status, regardless of our age, regardless of our gender. We all have a chance to put this in to practice and play our part in nurturing others. The art of motherhood is there for us all to learn and is visible in the very nature of God.
