He lied. You surprised?

The FBI director says there is no evidence to support White House claims that Barack Obama wiretapped Candidate Trump. However, the FBI has been conducting an ongoing investigation since last summer, regarding Trump officials and possible Russian interference in US campaign and election.

At a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Trump not only refused to shake hands with her for a photo op, but went on to lecture NATO members in a series of tweets that were immediately refuted as being incorrect by former US ambassador, Ivo Daalder, who publicly educated the FOTUS on how NATO works.

Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch, has said that women should ask their employers for permission before becoming pregnant. He says that women manipulate employers for maternity benefits.

Sometimes being a bigot hurts your career. Former North Carolina governor Pat McCory says that because he signed HB 2 - "the bathroom bill" - no one will hire him. Meanwhile, the North Carolina state Supreme Court ruled that the state Republican party's attempts to grab power and neutralize the new governor - a Democrat - are unconstitutional.

In Kentucky, SB 17 has been signed into law. It allows student groups at high schools, colleges, and universities to discriminate against LGBTQ students. And in Wyoming, the state Supreme Court formally rebuked a judge for refusing to marry same-sex couples.

The family of the 16 yr old girl (who was fatally shot last Tuesday by police pursuing the car in which she was a passenger) has identified her as Elena Mondragon of Antioch, CA. The family says she was pregnant. Neither the Fremont nor Hayward, CA police departments have named Elena as a crime suspect.
