The SFPD is under fire, again, for racist texts and emails circulating among their officers  In Los Angeles, a high-ranked Burbank PD officer was fired on May 1 for his role in writing and circulating racist and homophobic text messages.


Trans woman Reecey Walker was murdered on May 1, in Wichita Kansas, making her the 10 trans person this year to perish due to hate crime.
