Make no mistake about it: Matrix Revolutions is a bad movie. The script sidelines Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity in their climatic moment. Imagine something more than a monotonous whisper from the denizens of Zion? Their lack of passion and urgency seems to indicate that they are aware that they exist as controlled opposition in a repeating simulation. They are all comatose. The best (and ironically the most lively) part of the movie is Agent Smith, but he's also underused in favor of the Zion nonsense. Cool ideas and bad execution.
