2020 was heartbreak and a heart ache at the same time. With forced solitude and heavy adjustments in everything from politics to entertainment to education, society took a major hit while trying to find a new normal. With 2021 providing a glimmer of hope for better days ahead, a lot of people are eager to shift the world back to more familiar times.

But on the other side of the coin, there are just as many people who aren’t willing to go into the new year with the same baggage that made the previous past few decades so terrible. Racism, sexism, xenophobia, entitlement… all conditions and situations people are looking to drop with the ball and bury in the past. And the two sides are definitely clashing.

The million dollar question is how do you figure out which side of the line you’re on? Is it all or nothing? Is there any way to meet in the middle? Should we even try?
