Tammy Westney MS, CNS, LDN, CPT is a life-long advocate of healthy eating. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health, where she studied pathophysiology, biochemistry, herbal medicine, and culinary arts among many other topics. She is a Certified Personal Trainer, and is licensed as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.

As the Food Scientist, Tammy teaches the art of using food as medicine. She sees individual clients with health problems ranging from autoimmune and endocrine disorders to age-related and metabolic issues. She uses a functional and integrative approach, treating the whole person with diet, exercise, and stress reduction.

Tammy has written two books, Food is Foundational, a Nutritional Workbook, and Food is Foundational, a Seasonal Cookbook, both available on Amazon. Her third book on therapeutic diets will be out later this year.
