Local mother expresses concern for child's safety after changes suggested to municipal swim league - a podcast by Radio.com

There has been a policy change floated and sent to parents in a local municipal swim league suggesting an update to language in regards to trans athletes. Marc Cox reads from the letter received by one local mother.

"A minor transgender athlete should be allowed to participate in accordance with his or her gender identify irrespective of the sex listed on the athletes birth certificate."This includes people up to the age of age 18 and also says that athlete should be able to use the "locker room, changing facility, and restroom constant with his or her gender identity".
