Meanwhile, Aussie blokes were glued to the coverage as Shane from the Gold Coast suggested, “it was just great to hear a woman screeching and grunting even though she didn’t need to. My missus could learn a trick or two for sure”.

- Meanwhile Maria Sharapova herself has made a return to the grand slam arena after serving her drug ban. Fans were generous with their applause for the former world number one on court with Sharapova also seen enjoying a night out on the town earlier in the week with Karmichael Hunt, Jesse Bromwich and Ben Cousins.

- And Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has made possibly the world’s worst DRS review on an LBW decision against South African skipper Faf Du Plessis. Replays at Centurion Park show the ball clearly hitting the middle of the bat, with commentators left bemused about the decision to review in the first place. In unrelated news, a group of unnamed Indian punters have picked up a nice little windfall after successfully determining the exact over and delivery that India would use the DRS in their test match against the Proteas. Incredible luck there fellas. Well done.
