Today we interview Dr James Thomas, or JT. He is the creator of Health Latch, and the new online platform for all things tongue tie and airway health, Health Latch Circle. Think "Linkedin" for tongue ties and airway disorders! Every person who gets into airway health wants a master sheet of trusted providers with similar beliefs, JT made this happen for us!

He walks us through the vision behind the website Health Latch Circle, and the desire to connect like minded providers. He has made it easy for patients and other providers to connect to airway providers. Myofunctional disorders and airway disorders takes a village, and Health Latch Circle can help you find your people! We need to collaborate with a whole team, it's not just a tongue tie!

We will make a youtube video accessible where JT shows us how to use the online website https://www.healthlatchcircle.com/ and walks us through everything as well as future plans for the website.

The pillars are: learn, trust & thrive

learn

Chances are you found the health:latch circle because you're looking for answers. You need help and you’re not really sure where to start. Don't worry, your journey to complete care starts here!

LEARN from articles, videos & research articles from trusted circle providers.

trust

You need a circle of specialists to not only work with you, but also with one another. Explore the circle to connect with trusted healthcare professionals who can help with oral restrictions like tongue, lip and buccal tie.

TRUST a provider you've found here and connect with them directly.

thrive

We gathered the pieces of the circle for you, and it’s up to you to complete it the way that best fits you.

THRIVE by growing your circle and freeing yourself, your child or a loved one of oral restrictions for good.

The idea and premise is to gather all of the passionate providers, provide education for patients, and to build a team. For example: a mom gives birth and is having nursing difficulty. She could make an account (free account for patients), learn about why the baby is having symptoms, and find a functionalist (lactation consultant, CST, osteopath etc), then find someone who knows all about tongue ties and can do the procedure under proceduralist.

For our airway advocate providers out there, join the circle! Let's connect the dots to find each other, connect the dots for patients, and be RADICALLY KIND.
