What is surf therapy? Using surfing as an intervention can help kids or adults with sensory processing disorders. Both profiles of sensory processing disorders can benefit, people with low awareness of their body and under active, and people who get too much stimuli with over active who need to down regulate. This can help with body awareness, proprioception, nervous regulation, balance, confidence, people on the autism spectrum, motor delays, core strengthening.
