April 19, 2021 Monday Hour 2 - a podcast by Jim Prell

Why do people just not think anymore?  Yesterday in Walmart for groceries,  a 20 something with her two kids in tow, in a motorized wheelie cart LOADED TO OVERFLOW in front of me.  From her captain’s chair ordering the two little ones to go get me this, go get me that.  She suddenly takes up conversation with a man in the lane next to us.  I glean that this is her other half…with a cart fully loaded, too!  She has, in our lane,  approached the entry to the cashier after nearly a half hour wait.  She, without looking around, tells him to join our line in front of her.  I STARE STRAIGHT AT HIM LOCK EYES & Shake my head NO!  Currently there are just about another 12 to 15 in line behind me!  He tells her, he is fine where he is.  Glad he did, I was about to invite her to go join his line if they want to check out together.  She had no concern for anyone that was already in line with her.  I see humans but no humanity, no deference to polite society or civility.
