Pop Radio UK Show 134 - a podcast by Jim Prell

Pop Radio UK with my early musical influences.  As a kid growing up in Cleveland, New York, our big 2 rock station being WOUR out of Utica, New York, taught me about playing DEEP CUTS… and WAQX out of Syracuse.  WAQX had to me an incredibly unique LOCAL music show called “Soudcheck with Dave Fresina”.  It was here that my “taste and style” of music was fertilized.  I heard many a great sounding LOCAL unsigned, indie band and I knew…I heard a sound, tone that had been reverberating about my head for years.  I lived in the Syracuse area in what I call the “Magic Age Of Bright Lights (hat tip to Dana & Carl!)  And Local Music!”  So many differing styles, differing tones, differing writing styles.  Sorry if you couldn’t be a part of the goings on then.  Maybe, just maybe, with the stars shining on us there will be Bright Lights (another hat tip to @Dana Bonn & @Carl Carfarelli) again!  One can live in hope!  Why all this reminiscing?  Because it’s my show and I play what I like!  What’s NOT to like?  Give A Listen!  Like, Download, Comment, Share, Repeat.  Lame-stream radio...Variety...I do not think they TRULY know the meaning of the word!  That’s why I do what I do here...Radio Candy Radio!  The Music Authority LIVE STREAM Show & Podcast bringing Power Pop, Rock, Soul, Rhythm & Blues to anyone and everyone who wants to expand their rock and roll radio knowledge!  Shows NOW on Listen Notes, Google Podcast Manager, Mixcloud, PlayerFM, Stitcher, Tune In, Podcast Addict, Cast Box, Radio Public, Pocket Cast, Apple iTunes Podcasts!!  Please!
