California Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Miquel Delgado talks about surgical treatments and causes for Gynecomastia, Male Boobs.
Dr. Delgado specializes in Gynecomastia and has preformed over 1000 cases. His private practice is located in Novato, California.
"Doctors would always tell young boys it will go away by the time your 18 years old. But it doesn't, so men did not have an answer they lived with it they hide it and that was a common way men dealt with it."
Men and Young boys do not have to live with Gynecomastia. There are different surgical techniques depending on your age, and weight. There is however always a slight risk of occurance, if you do it young because your hormones are still growing.
The younger you are the better the outcome. Insurance does not cover this surgery and the price ranges from about $12,000 to $18,000 depending on many factors.
