Our direct experience is revealing that this instant is in the most radical kind of flux, flow and fluidity. This is our experience from instant to instant. Our perceptions vanish as they are perceived. The arising of a perception is also its vanishing. If we look at it with some care and curiosity, our direct experience reveals the impossibility of definition, the impossibility of conceptualising what this is. How can do we define something that is forever shifting? Well, we can’t.
